Jo Han Mok Really Knows His Stuff...

I spent four days at the World Internet Summit recently and was lucky enough to be drawn for a one-on-one guru session with Jo Han Mok.

I've always respected him and have carried out several successful joint ventures with him in the past. I was thrilled to bits when my number was drawn and just yelled out "You bewdy!" in excitement. :~)

Jo Han asked me what I was doing there and said I should be up on the stage, which was very flattering coming from someone of his calibre. But I'm not that fat-headed and realise now that I really need to elevate my business up to the next level if I ever want to reach the goals that I've set myself.

The Master Wordsmith gave me some valuable advice which I will certainly take heed of and I value the short time that he spent with me. It was great to see his partner Ewen Chia with him as well. I just read a blog by Jo Han this evening and his opinion is spot on. I've definitely been a technical person in the past wanting to know the ins and outs of everything and how it all works. Just that incessant curiosity factor I guess. But I do agree with the results of staying that way! lol.

You know, these guys are only young and they set a terrific example to anyone who wants to build their business to a profitable level without being chained to thier computer. It's amazing to sit in the audience at the summit and listen to the speakers and their unique way of "thinking outside the box" while sharing their marketing expertise. Talk about value!

And personality plus! lol. Brett McFall was a really good sport and an excellent host, along with Ted Ciuba and Tom Hua (who is a real cutie). The guest speakers were all of the highest quality and the information increasingly valuable.

Jennie Armato is an absolute sweetie, Alan Forrest-Smith is funny and an excellent copywriter with very soft hair... (I know because I touched it! lol) Well he should have because he used to be a hairdresser. Trevor Crook is an inspiration who uses colourful language, David Cavanagh is an amazing salesman and a total stirrer, Kirt Kristensen is a very switched on guy and Mike Stewart's presentation was totally, totally cool. It's no wonder Stephen Pierce is so successful with the strategies he uses, Jason Cox is more brainy than he should be for his age and Marlon Sanders is totally wild and eccentric as ever -- but very entertaining.

A local girl named Krissy Wright was drawn for the Internet Marketing Challenge and easily made $28k in just 72 hours. Unbelievable!
Take a look here.

We were fortunate enough to share a hire car to the airport with Krissy and her husband, Sean, after the summit. Honestly, you couldn't be happier for them. What more proof could we want that the marketing strategies taught to us really work? :-)

We came home with a fistful of business cards from people that we met and made friends with. What a crowd of great people! Both my husband Brian and I think that the information we learned is probably worth 20 times what we paid.
